Aluexpo Sectoral Buying Mission was held between 11-14 October 2023 at Istanbul Expo Centre B2B Hall with the participation of 13 Turkish companies and 18 foreign companies. The participating countries can be arranged as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Tunisia.
On the first day of the delegation; foreign participants arrived in Istanbul and entered Istanbul Wow Hotel where accommodation was made. The participants were welcomed and informed about the delegation programme.
On the second day of the delegation; bilateral meetings were held with the participation of 13 Turkish companies and 18 foreign company representatives in the B2B hall located in Istanbul Expo
Centre. In total, 92 bilateral meetings were held with 18 foreign participants. Meetings were held with the sector associations Turkish Aluminium Industrialists Association (TALSAD) and Entrepreneur Aluminium Industrialists and Business People Association (GALSİAD).
On the third day of the delegation, the 11th International Aluminium Symposium took place at the Istanbul Expo Centre. The 8th Aluminium Technologies, Machinery and Products Specialised Fair
held on the same dates was also visited. Foreign participants have started the process of returning to their countries.
The companies participating in the delegation evaluated that the organisation was beneficial in terms of increasing exports and increasing market share.
