The 13th edition of the Aluminium Düsseldorf 2022 fair was successfully conducted in Düsseldorf, Germany, spanning three days from September 27 to 29, 2022. This prestigious industry event, held biennially, served as a global platform for players in the aluminium sector. The fair welcomed a significant number of exhibitors and visitors, with 730 exhibitors and 20,400 attendees from 100 different countries marking their presence across an extensive area of 80,000 square meters, spread over six exhibition halls.
The countries contributing to the top five participants were Germany, Turkey, Italy, Spain, and the USA, reflecting the global scope of the fair. Notably, Turkey showcased a strong presence with the participation of 102 Turkish companies.
The Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (IDDMIB) information stand was a key feature at the event. All 102 Turkish companies were visited, and informative brochures encompassing details about IDDMIB, trade365, the incentive process, and training opportunities were disseminated to the visitors.
Aluminium Düsseldorf is known for its stature in the industry, particularly within the European Union, and is hailed as the largest fair in the sector. It provided an excellent platform for 102 Turkish companies, primarily individual consumers, to exchange views and discuss sector expectations. 61 companies visited the IDDMIB stand, leaving their business cards for future engagement.
